RE: Boy, do I stink!
I have the same problem and have always been told it's because of negative pressure being created in the motorhome when it's moving with the windows down. Mine usually occurred when the tank had much in it.
RE: 1998 Ford V10 Oil & Filter info. needed
I have a 98 C with the V-10 and use a Fram PH2. Having much experience working on vehicles professionally, and teaching, I would never pay the extra $$$ to buy the filter at a dealership. KMart and WalMart are my choice. My manual calls for 5-30 synthetic oil, which I definitely use. Also, I agree with previous post that it takes more like 7 quarts for a complete fill than the 6 you sometimes see. A tip: because the filter is mounted vertically you can fill it with about a third of a quart before spinning it on. Good idea as it helps build pressure a second or two quicker upon initial startup.
RE: Vacuum recommendations?
Like most I try to wait until I'm home and use the regular house vac. However, for those times we do need it (i.e. beach visits) I do keep a small, handheld Dyson in the MH. It's a bit expensive, but it works great.
RE: sirius antenn
Someone in this forum gave me the idea of mounting it in a cabinet over the driver's cab. I mounted a small piece of metal to the inside frame with a wood screw and stuck the antenna to it. It works fine, no visible wiring, and no holes in the motorhome. A year of driving and not cutting in/out.
Hmmm, interesting...and your talking about "Sirius" radio not a GPS system??
The reason I ask is my GPS works fine with antenna inside but not a chance with my Sirius.
Dan
Definitely a Sirius receiver. It works great.
